From the BBC:
Two Nato soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan after being ambushed by militants with rocket-propelled grenades.
Three troops were also wounded in the battle in Kandahar province on Saturday, Nato said in a brief statement.
The nationality of the soldiers has not yet been released.
Taleban fighters have increased attacks in recent months, particularly around Kandahar and Helmand provinces.
The statement added: "Isaf troops returned fire with small arms and artillery and called in close air support."
On Friday, a suicide bomber drove an explosives-packed van into a Nato patrol, killing one soldier and eight Afghan civilians.
