  1. From the BBC:

Two Nato soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan after being ambushed by militants with rocket-propelled grenades.
Three troops were also wounded in the battle in Kandahar province on Saturday, Nato said in a brief statement.
The nationality of the soldiers has not yet been released.
Taleban fighters have increased attacks in recent months, particularly around Kandahar and Helmand provinces.
The statement added: "Isaf troops returned fire with small arms and artillery and called in close air support."
On Friday, a suicide bomber drove an explosives-packed van into a Nato patrol, killing one soldier and eight Afghan civilians.

    RIP boys

  2. Sky news are reporting that they are Canadian.
  3. Heard a bit of feedback from some mates that the Canooks are doing 'the business' in the same way as our lads. No doubts some more seriously good lads off to the great tank park in the sky. Nite boys, sleep tight.
  4. God Bless our Canadian friends.
