  1. Came across this a while back and thought some here might find this interesting; the battle probably only warrants an arrow on a map in most Normandy histories: Account of 2 Lincs at Herouville
    The author appears to be the webmaster of www.secondlincs.co.uk but the full account doesn't seem to be on this site.
  2. Good account - always difficult to comprehend what it must have been like having to mount infantry attacks over bare-arrsed ground against a prepared and efficient enemy.
