So when Charles became Prince of Wales as a sop to the Welsh did that make him a sacrifice to the Gogs?

  2. Well, so the story goes when Edward I created the post (Prince of Wales) he said he would give the Welsh a prince who spoke no English.

So he introduced his baby son, who would hold the post Prince of Wales until he became Edward II.

In fairness to HRH, he learnt Cymraeg at Aberystwyth prior to his investiture.

If you don't think the language issue can still stir up a passion, have a chuckle at this:

BBC News - Welsh language row erupts on BBC radio show

Anyway, the schools are now good enough to run "Welsh for parents" (so those of us who don't speak Welsh can help with the homework for the children who do!)

    10 o clock news and:
BBC news again! Today wasn't a full dress rehearsal for the parade, the troops weren't in tunics and Bearskins so weren't dressed as they will be on the day so its not even a dress rehearsal let alone a full one! Standards slipping? You're not fucking wrong!
