1899 Martini-Enfield - rounds?

  1. Did the 1899 Martini-Enfield use the same old rimmed round as the 20th century No3 and No4 Lee-Enfields....I presume it did.

    Certainly did use the standard .303 case. The bullet would have been a 215 grain round nose Cordite load. The rifling was an improvement to cope with the cordite loading and replaced the Metford rifling which was for black powder load.
