I am trying to get information on the 17th Ambulance Unit during the 1st WW, where and what areas visited.

The grandfather of my long haired CO was a conciencious objector during the 1st WW. He served as an ambulance driver and stretcher bearer all through the war, his name was Cyril Harold Brown. I have a copy of his medal record card, there is no service number but his name is given as the Reverand C. H Brown.

    Over to Arrse!
  2. Probably wrong forum, mate. Try the military history room.
