Nope.

Some units have arranged - with varying success - for a PAYG Wifi service to be installed in accommodation. But if you want a broadband landline sticking in your room, it's up to you to pay for it - end of.

the blerk says BT are doing a 'squaddie package' now that makes it easier to move your broadband when you get posted....but he's a clerk so he's probably talking bollox!! :D

If you already have a socket in your room, say that you're on barracks straight away when you phone BT for the activation, as they have a dedicated section that manage all the lines that run into military establishments - they'll transfer you to that team, the bonus being that the call centre isn't in India, and you'll get sorted out a lot faster!

thats what the blerk was saying but Fuggers says it so much more succinctly :D
