If it caused so much chaos maybe the taliban weren't complete loonies when they banned kite flying in afgan.

They were just killjoys.

I see that the kiteflyers haven't yet twigged on the dangers of flying them close to power lines. If the lines don't get you, some bugger will shoot you as he gets over excited over the near miss.
