Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. 1 R Anglican.......?? Are they soldiers of god...??

I take it you mean Anglian...??
  2. If you start a thread paying tribute to a unit, do at least get their name right!

I'll spell it out for you. They are the Royal Anglians. i.e. a unit raised in East Anglia and the east of England. Anglican is an adjective meaning characteristic of the Church of England.

  3. C_J is from across the pond, so is allowed a slip-up on the name. Our broadcasters, especially our beloved public broadcaster, are allowed no such latitude!
  4. Wow, I missed that. Stupid mistake because I actually did know that. Sorry
  5. Thanks for the link.
  6. And me. Thanks, C_J.

    Best wishes
