Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Marines from the 3 RIMa (Marine infantry from Vannes, West of France) in support of the ANA were engaged in a firefight near the village of Ghayne Pain, in the Ghayn Valley close to Nijrab.

The combat lasted 90 minutes and ended with the withdrawal of the Taleban.

A 22 year-old Marine was KIA and two others Marines were WIA but their lives are not in danger.
