Fairline was founded in 1963 at Oundle Marina making fibreglass cabin cruisers.I did a bit more hunting on the net last night.
Coastal Craft Models UK, they produce five different versions of the British Power Boats MGBs. Two versions of the Fairline D class MGB/MTBs.
Also I came across another Company producing an E Boat.View attachment 624787View attachment 624788View attachment 624789
Brain fade should have wrote Fairmile, anyway I found some screenshots of the family line A,B,C and D boats. The earlier boats were classed as MLs it was the D (Dog) boats that were classed as MGB or MTBs.Fairline was founded in 1963 at Oundle Marina making fibreglass cabin cruisers.
Disappointed with the illustrations. Very poor sizing and reproduction. Not much use to a modeller.
They Died of Shame.Re the Gay boats - there were 12 of them built by Vosper Thornycroft, Portsmouth and/or Southampton.

Would it be a bad time to point out that hannants have it in stock for £25.80 Eduard Ship detailing - ED53033 | HannantsEduard do a photoetched detail set for the Revell kit, but I can't find on for the Airfix version. Ebay wanted £107 plus £50 postage, crazy price, got the set for £28 direct from the eduard site, using paypal, Might well be using them a bit more in the future.
