About bloody time!

In my day it was a ball of green string and an Avon Redcrest or a dry suit.
I was on the periphery of some of the groundwork for this - good to see it going from "are there any useful concepts?" to "let's test some of the more promising ones".

Unfortunately on wide fast-flowing rivers you can float some way down stream holding manfully onto your green string before you make the other side.

You need to make sure you have a new roll of string too

Are you telling me that you cant Engineer a solution from a GS shovel, sandbags and green string?
