This was a bit of a surprise book for review, as I hadn't asked for it, but turned out to be a quite pleasant one. It's a very short book of only 87 pages but appears to be a very well researched book. As per the tag line, it's Vol 3 in a series.
The book is very well illustrated with photos, maps and colour illustrations of a sample of the aircraft used by the varying countries. The photos in particular are fascinating as a view into a world long past. This brings me to the only real snag I could find, it's written very much from a 21st century viewpoint with a bit of boo hiss imperialist language sneaking in here and then, but not enough to spoil it to any real degree. I knew next to nothing about the subject before I read this, but now have a smattering of knowledge on it. To anybody with an interest in this, I would say it would be a very worthy addition.
