The downed C3 was a tribute put there by Tito after WW2 to the guys who gave their lives supporting his boys against the Germans. If you look closely you can see that the front wheels were on a plinth as the aircraft is facing downhill just below the crest of a hill. I think it was somewhere along MND Bluebird, but I may be wrong.
I thought the box under the wheel looked out of place.
During the summer there a C3 parked at Merville Bty. It had been rescued by some aviation restoration group from an airfield in FRY. Is this the same one?
