A place of worship for followers of the [[Islamic]] faith. Mosques can vary in size from anything from a garden shed to something looking like the Trafford Centre. Planning was recently (and quite rightly) turned down for a proposed mosque near the new Wembley Stadium that would have held an astonishing 75,000 worshippers... under ONE ROOF!

And speaking of astonishing numbers, [[Bradford]] has over 10,000 registered places of worship - and we're not talking [[Catholic]] churches either. Oddly enough, registered places of worship are exempt [[Council tax]] - which goes some considerable way to explain why many of Bradford's inhabitants are driving around in Mercs.
