JHC (Joint Helicopter Command) is the body responsible for most of the armed forces helicopters (both offensive and support) and thus includes most RAF, AAC & Royal Navy Helicopters (Including the Commando Helicopter Force). JHC does not however have control over search and rescue helicopters of the RN and RAF; neither does it have control of the Royal Navy's fleet helicopters. The pool of helicopters available to JHC is about 243.
