Elft - noun.

Withdrawn/restricted due to safety considerations or health reasons (which may or may not be the case - see below).

Elft - verb. Past tense.

Activity curtailed due to safety considerations or health reasons.

The correct response to being 'eflt' is to challenge the 'elfter' and demand a copy of the risk assessment, as this will show whether or not they are just being lazy and trying to fob you off. Statistics show that laziness is true in over 99% of cases.
