The only unit in the British Army to have the Battle Honour "Fishguard" the last battle honour awarded on British Soil. This was won in 1797 for the Pembroke Yeomanry's participation in repelling the French Invasion of Fishguard. 224 (Pembroke Yeomanry) Tpt Sqn still retain their old Yeomanry Mess dress, full dress and collar dogs. The unit also has several other battle honours dating back to the First World War.
