London based RLC Regiment currently implementing FAS, the results of which may produce a template for the rest of the TA as FAS reaches them. Paired to 27 Tpt Regt RLC. Known as the "Greater Luncheon Regiment" amongst the RLCTA.

Formed in 1967 from elements of 44 Home Counties and 54 East Anglian Transport Columns RASC. In 1993 was recapbadged as part as the formation of the RLC. In 1999 124 Pet Sqn joined the unit.

The Unit consists of:

The units symbol is the gold trident on a red oval which is derived from the old 44 Home Counties Transport Column, the trident being awarded to the unit after it pulled the guns of a now unknown RA battery off of the beach on D-Day. However the unfortunate choice of colours renders the badge as an up turned McDonalds sign.

Up to 50% of the Unit has served on the various Op Telics.

Watch out for 562 Squadron made up entirely of 'geezers' that put Del boy to shame, if you come to visit don't buy anything off them. And don't gamble or drink with them either for predictable reasons. But the food is pretty good!
