Wyle E spent his entire life, many many 'deaths' and a not inconsiderable amount of money on increasingly desperate schemes trying to catch the Roadrunner. He never succeeded as his plans would fail ... usually after the laws of gravity or physics or 27th Newtonian law of quantum mechanics would mysteriously stopped functioning.

Just once I'd have liked Wyle E to catch and eat that smug git of a Roadrunner.
