Voluntold

Essentially a word that means "I was told to volunteer" probably by a non-commissioned officer ie corporal, sergeant or perhaps even the badge.

It’s a simple system, either you volunteer, or else. And as any good soldier knows the else will probably hurt. The higher the orderer's rank, the more it hurts.
