A cheap semi-automatic rifle produced in the final months of WWII for the Volkssturm, German 'home guard' type units.
Chambered in 7.92 Kurtz (7.92 x 33) it used the same magazine as the MP43/MP44/Stg44.
Mass produced and badly, if at all, finished, few of these rifles now exist and they can command large sums in the collectors market.
