A member of the civilian elite, by that we mean, a member of the civilian population who fancies himself as a member of the Elite Special Forces.

While there is nothing wrong with being a civilian (except for the poor hygiene, sodomy and terrible facial hair) nor with being an elite special forces soldier (except for the poor hygiene, sodomy and terrible facial hair), the combination, is nothing short of odious.

Who can forget such classics as:

  • "I didn't know where to post this but I would like to know the answer."
  • "When SF's are sent on op's with regular regiments, are the SF's identified as SF's to the regular booties or are they just blended in as regular soldiers?"

or even

  • "Right I've just got back from the gym and been chatting to the lads.
There all pumped up stead monsters and can lift nearly twice what I'm lifting. It's p1ssing me off that I put so much effort into getting strong and fit and these blokes have been doing it half the time, and they p1ss all over me in every sense. Some of them are lifting 100kg.
They are all telling me to get on them and il p1ss army training, but I don't want to cheat, in fear of being caught and the side-effects it will have on my body in the long term.
I've read through previous threads about this and there doesn't seem to be a clear answer to what the army rules are about them. I can't see it being legal, but as I've just read it seems they can't afford to test for steroid abuse.
What should I do,its annoying when you put effort in with slight progression over a long period and see others doing the same workouts but with massive results...Its a joke"

They're all classics. But if you want to learn more about this chap, or possibly even meet (and mock) him in person, he will be attending the Para Insight Course from the 5th to 7th of June. He will be signing autographs.

Might well be a homosexualist with a penchant for scotch bonnets as lubricant, or not ... could just be that (s)he likes pink Burberry glengarries.
