Troop
A Troop is a sub-unit of a Squadron. It may be divided into sections (RE) or detachments (RSigs) and will have a command element consisting of a Subaltern, a Troop Sergeant and several Section/Detachment commanders.
A Troop is the equivalent of a platoon.
