Deceased professional Northerner, doyen of light entertainment since 1879 and former Cakemistress-in-Chief of the Women's Institute.

Also Cockney rhyming bollocks for 'turd' - something which Thora found immensely amusing, though some suspect it contributed directly to her demise upon discovery. We shall never know. A fine legacy nevertheless - the same of which cannot be said for some.
