The QCS
From ARRSEpedia
The Queen's Colour Squadron are the ceremonial squadron of the RAF Regiment, and are (allegedly) the RAF's equivalent of the QGR. Actually, they aren't really. They are, however, a bunch of Tick Tocks who march up and down the Albert Hall in silence - and they're quite good at it too. Well... you would be if that's all you did all day - march up and down the square. That said, they do have a war role as such, and do their stint in green before reverting to their non-war role of marching up and down the square and piano lessons.
See here for more information on their lesser known role of battlefield (or indeed airfield) smokescreen production.
