| The ghost of carrier future - note ski jump |
|---|
A ramp upon which demented and schnapps'ed-up ski-ers launch themselves when the endless chorus' of 'Eidelvise' get too much.
also
The ramp at the front of UK carriers used to let VTOL fighters (originally Sea Harriers) get a running start on taking off and so saving fuel, alongside being cheaper for the navy than the steam catapult used by the Spams. Wherever the new VTOL naval fighter (F-35 Lightning II) will ever work or whither the CVF carriers will ever be built in the light of there being no money for a defence budget cause its all been spent on Nigerian immigrants is a mystery to this call sign.
