In the infantry a fighting unit consisting of 2 NCOs (one section commander and 2i/c), 6 men and possibly an AFV. Can be further divided into 2 Bricks for urban patrolling.
In reality a bored Lance Corporal and 4 men forming something for subalterns to give orders to on exercise or SNCOs to use for shit jobs.
