Royal Corps of Halbardiers

The Royal Corps of Halbardiers is a fictional British Army regiment from author Evelyn Waugh's Sword of Honour trilogy. Its based on Waugh's experiences in the Royal Marines during the Second World War, including the debacle at Crete.

Notable for the excellent Brigadier Ben Ritchie-Hook.
