Queen's Royal Irish Hussars

History
The Queen's Royal Irish Hussars were created in 1958 by the amalgamation of 4th Queen's Own Hussars, and 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars. In 1993 the regiment amalgamated with the Queen's Own Hussars to form the Queen's Royal Hussars (The Queen's Own and Royal Irish).
