To make one's escape from a place, person or situation. Derived from the action need to eject from an aircraft or open the escape hatch after a crash. See also Bang out.
To rely on Martin-Bakers finest, those who successfully bang out get awarded a special tie. Those that bang out of a grotty birds house before doing the deed get awarded a yellow/white feather for cowardice, but they do escape without a Blobby Knob and live to fight another day.
Pull the Black and Yellow Handle should not be confused with 'Drop the Gerbil Down the Cardboard Tube' which has a completely different meaning.
