Accepted STANAG abbreviation for "Opposing Forces". Normally used to describe the live personnel opposing friendly forces on exercise, it also sounds less rude than "enemy" and cooler than "those b*stards from B Sqn.
Usually consists of the QM and whatever waifs and strays can be rounded up from the sick, lame and lazy.
