Young Officers come in two flavours. The majority went to University and completed the common-sense removal procedure. Just over 10% are "non-grads".

[edit] Salary & Seniority

Non-grads have chips on their shoulder almost as big as SNCOs. This is mainly due to the salary difference. Non-grads earn just over half of their graduate counterparts during Sandhurst and have 3 years to catch up on in seniority.

[edit] Crayons

Most non-grads point out that they are paid less for doing the same job. They forget, however, that the crayons they were issued when they joined do cost money and they would get confused and upset if their salary involved numbers higher than 12k.
