Well, there's mud, and there's mud. Mud is a gelatinous substance responsible for the disappearance of thousands of British Troops on the Western Front in The Great War; some of whom are still turning up. Latterly, and much less horrific, mud is used as an accessory to female wrestling bouts. I know which I'd rather drown in. Mud was also a popular 1970s band, known for questionable taste in attire and arse-kicking hits such as Tiger Feet and... erm... Tiger Feet.
