Soviet Engineer Equipment.
The MTK is a BTR-50PK APC with a special launcher mounted on top of the hull to the rear of the troop compartment. It fires rockets to which are attached flexible tubes containing high explosives which fall to the ground on to the minefield and are then detonated from the vehicle. The former Soviet designation for the rocket system is UR-67.
Western equivalents of this type of mineclearing equipment (such as Giant Viper) are towed so the Sappers involved have the Armour of the towing vehicle between them and the explosive filled hose. This vehicle brings said hose inside the Armour so the crew can snuggle up to it. Rather them than me.
