Lisburn

Lisburn, also known as Slipper City is and always was one of the cushiest postings in Northern Ireland. It had the most bars on one street, located in a very Loyalist part of the Province and was so large that it had almost every facility you could need. In fact, it wasn't unusual for people to have a two year posting there and only ever leave the camp to go to the airport to go on leave.
