Classic Movie starring Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherland, and Telly Savalas.
A busted US Army lieutenant (Clint Eastwood), almost accidently captures a German officer, discovers the location of gold in a town behind German lines. He recruits Telly Savalas's squad, and Donald Sutherland's Sherman Tanks to go and get it. Unfortunatly, the town is garrisoned, with 3 Tiger tanks. Any more and i'll spoil the plot.
Cracking movie, no pretense of glory, just soldiers out for themsleves and each other, with Donald Sutherland as a sort of proto-hippie. With tanks.
