Johnny 'Two Combs' Howard

Legendary figure within the regiment. A contemporary of Andy McNab, Howard too followed up his service by writing a string of books on the back of the success of McNab's Bravo Two Zero. Notably:

• Direct Action (2000)

Now understood to be teaching basic writing skills to the Omani Special Forces.
