US-manufactured boot that replaced the Vietnam era jungle boot. Similar in appearance and using the cleated non-clog sole of the later jungle boot issues, the Boot - Hot Weather also features speed lacing eyelets and a cushioned top. The sides are in black cordura instead of the old green pattern and the drain holes on the instep are retained.
These boots are on UK issue for service in environments where the temperate assault or desert boots are unsuitable.
