Green Line

It's not green and can more accurately be described as a curve.

Technically it is an entirely separate entity from the Buffer Zone but most people seem unable to grasp this simple notion.

Its name stems from the green Chinagraph pencil General Sir Peter Young used to draw on a map of the old city of Nicosia in order to delineate between Turkish-Cypriot and Greek-Cypriot militias on 30th December 1963.
