Good Drills
From ARRSEpedia
[edit] Good Drills!
The shout given by the instructor when the Padewan gets the hang of what he's being taught.
It's taken on a more rounded meaning however so that many things earn the applause of "good drills".
- e.g. On waking up next to some munter the now sober Subbie realises not only is he at her pad (so he can bang out as soon as possible without having to talk to her) but she paid for the taxi home, and thinks his name is Chris and that he's a Gunner!
- "Good Drills" he tells himself as the door smacks him on the arse as he makes his escape.
This is the opposite of Bad Drills
