Ethnic Millinery Recognition

Ts17army.jpg
Some Porridge Wogs yesterday.

Narrow fore & aft dress cap worn in Scottish regiments and slightly similar in appearance to the Field Service Cap. Glengarries can be found in a number of colours and with varying patterns to the diced band that is worn depending on status or affiliation.

Pipers' glengarries do not usually have the dicing. Glengarries were worn throughout the army in undress during the Victorian era and in some units up until the Great War.
