This is the squaddie equivalent of sniggering at words or phrases in normal conversation that have sexual connotations, no matter how tenuous they maybe - a double entendre.

Side effects range from uncontrollable laughter to grand-slamming in extreme cases. Originated from the Viz comic's Finbar Saunders & his Double Entendres character.
