FRG - Federal Riot Gun.
An American riot gun used in NI to fire baton rounds. A stop-gap weapon in use until the L48 was issued.
If dropped the FRG would fire which was a bit off putting if you were sitting in the back of a Pig at the time. Results rather like a Tom and Jerry cartoon but not as funny for those in the back.
