East and West Riding Regiment
The EWRR was a TA infantry regiment that recruited throughout most of Yorkshire. It was made up of three cap badges:
The companies (Fontenoy, Quebec, Ypres, Minden, Imphal and Waterloo) were based in Beverley, Barnsley, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Hull, Keighley, Leeds, York, Sheffield and Wakefield with HQ at Pontefract.
On 6th June 2006 the regiment became known as the 4th Battalion, the Yorkshire Regiment.
