Greek Cypriot nationalist movement that fought to expel British troops from Cyprus in the 1950s. When Cyprus was given independance from the UK in 1960, the EOKA effectively dissolved.

EOKA-B started up in 1971 and launched a military coup in 1974, which finally resulted in the Turkish invasion of Cyprus later that year.
