Duke of Wellington's Regiment

The Duke of Wellington's Regiment (officially, the Duke of Wellington's Regiment (West Riding)) was an infantry regiment of the British Army and part of the King's Division.
The 'Duke of Boots' or 'DWR' was amalgamated with the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire and the Green Howards' - all Yorkshire-based regiments in the King's Division which has since become the Yorkshire Regiment.
