Divulje Barracks (aka DJ Barracks) will be well known to anyone who did a tour of Bosnia before the end of 2001. Drowned in a sea of greenery, Divulje Barracks is not a camp like the others. Situated close to Trogir, 20 kilometers to the west of Split, Croatia, this seaside installation was rented by SFOR from the Croatian Army. More precisely, a part of the base is rented, the remainder is occupied by a Croatian garrison.
DJ Barracks was notable for being the place covered in REMFs and helicopter pilots - it was the home of the Support Helicopter Force (SHF) of Multinational Division south West (MND-SW). It also had a great Echos (like a Dutch NAAFI).
