Despatch Rider lid with leather harness

Worn by Dispatch Riders during WW2. Not to be confused with the very simlar Para lid of the time. It differs with a leather liner and weighs well heavier.

Also to note, the Australian Paras worn a similar jump lid to this helmet, but was made from a shock impact fibre called Duperite.
