Dessies - Desert Boots.

Until comparatively recently, dessies were private purchase items that would have lasted less than ten minutes in a hot, sandy environment. They were, however, ideally suited for pub crawls around 'The Shot' and went with almost any attire - particularly a Norgie and Ron Hills.
