Good at making cheese.
Except say, the Hundred Years War where they edged our England in sheer bloody mindedness (but they were led by a woman ... who could only be better than their normal commanders, and she was a saint so they had an unfair advantage).
It might be unfair to consider just one war so lets consider their entire body of work.
